Tryon, North Carolina was once a leading producer of grapes in the late 1800's and early 1900's. Due to prohibition, grape growing declined but the interest in grapes never left. Tryon is currently growing and experiencing a rebirth in vineyards, producing grapes for winemaking. We are bringing back the agriculture/traditions of the past.
